As part of the information and awareness campaign to explain the organic waste separation system used in 12 districts of the city, Madrid City Council is now offering the residents of these districts several days when they can visit Valdemingómez Technology Park.

This will allow all those who are interested in discovering what actually happens to their rubbish bags after leaving them in the bin to visit the different facilities that make up the Technology Park during the morning.

To go on this visit, it is first necessary to register, using the following link: register.

Reservations of the places available will be made in order of arrival.

These visits (only during the mornings) include bus travel to Valdemingómez Technology Park. The meeting point for taking the bus, near the “Junta Municipal de Distrito”, will be announced when you make your reservation.

These visits will last approximately 3 hours and will include the following facilities: The Visitors’ Centre, La Paloma or Las Dehesas processing plant and the energy recycling plant of Las Lomas.

Below is the program of visits scheduled for the months of February to May for these 12 districts.
