Now, do the same with the word waste. Did you see the same things?
The answer is NO. They are not the same.
To explain this is in a visually entertaining way, we’ve prepared an explanatory exhibition: Changing the perception of waste.
This will help you to distinguish between both terms, to discover important information about waste management in our city, in addition to little actions you can take in your day-to-day life to reduce the amount of waste you produce in the home.
Until now, this display was open to the public at the Dirección General de Servicios de Limpieza y Residuos, at the entrance to the Junta Municipal de Distrito in Moncloa-Aravaca, and in the Universidad Complutense.
It was at the University during its Sustainability Week, coinciding with the programs scheduled for the Climate Conference, that the students of the Faculty of Optics and Optometry were able to visit and read all the interesting information of our display for that week in their main hall.
